A very well known record producer, American rapper and also an actor is Snoop dogg. The actual name of the Snoop dogg is the Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr, who was born in Long Beach, California, on 20 th October 1971.

His mother gave him the nickname Snoopy. He changed his name, in the year 1996 to Snoop dogg, when he was signed with 'No Limit records'. Snoop was one of the members of a 'Crips' gang in Long Beach.

Snoop dogg was interested to make himself as a rapper rather than that of as a street hustler. As per Soundscan report, Snoop dogg has sold more than 17.6 millions albums since the establishment of Sounderscan in the USA. Another very important report of the Billboard regarding the Snoop dogg album is that he has sold more than 12 million certified units of the Snoop Dog album in the USA. Hustler produced this film. This film was actually the combination of Hip Hop and x-rated material. This film got the real success and it owns the top selling release of the year for the year 2002 AVN award. Following the huge success of this film, Snoop dogg prepared the other important film named Hustlaz: Diary of a Pimp in the year 2002. In the latter time i.e. in the year 2005, Snoop founded Snoopadelie films, his own production company.

The dubut film by this company was the 'Boss'n up'. Snoop released many albums, which got a grand success. This type of album he released in 2002 was 'Paid the cost to be the Da boss', which was the big hit single video. Snoop dogg with his childhood friend Willie McGinest founded the Icon Sports Entertainment, which helps the athletes and it realised their potential in the entertainment industry. Snoop dogg collaborated with the international musicians such as the Aki-la of Japan, Mira Craig of Norway etc. Snoop normally resides in the long beach at California, he may also be seen in the Inland Empire.
